Jonghi was an Italian French company that manufactured motorcycles from 1930 to 1957. The company was founded in Milan, emerging from the remnants of “Nagase & Ray.” Subsequently, Jonghi moved to France, adopting the brand “Constructions Mécaniques Jonghi,” later evolving into “Prester-Jonghi” and “Motos Jonghi.”

In 1951, Jonghi introduced the “250 H,” a utilitarian motorcycle featuring a two-stroke engine with a relatively low power output in relation to its displacement. The company followed this release in 1953 with the “Polo 125” model, a motor scooter equipped with a two-stroke engine that exhibited clear inspiration from the “Moto Guzzi Galletto.” The Polo 125 marked the final launch for Jonghi.

The Polo 125 Motorcycle Scooter featured a 2-stroke single-cylinder engine with a horizontal layout, and approximately 1,000 units were produced from 1953 to 1957. It generated 6 horsepower at 6,800 rpm, reaching a maximum speed of 80 km/h.
